Airport Redevelopment/Relocation

Mirabel International Airport

With the transfer of control from the Canadian government to local airport authorities, Canadian Airports were eager to redevelop their existing structures into more functional facilities for their tenants to use.  Aeroterm was very active in this process in the Montreal area.  Not only did the company help Aeroports de Montreal transfer 50 tenants from Mirabel International Airport to what is now Montreal-Trudeau International Airport into over 300,000 sf of new or refitted space, but the company was also responsible for the redevelopment of 43,000 SF facility in a short 4-month timeframe.  This reconfiguration converted an antiquated flight kitchen into a manufacturing and overhaul facility for Mirabel Aero Services.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport
One of the improvements on George Bush Intercontinental Airport was the creation of a new state of the art cargo area on the Eastern side of the airport.  Aeroterm was amongst those selected to construct a new art 170,000 SF facility in this area.  Once the site was constructed, we moved many current tenants from the Central cargo area across the airport to the new building.    We also maintained our presence in the central cargo area giving our tenants a choice of locations at this hub airport.
